Destiny 2: Trials of Osiris and Dawning Rewards (1/1 – 1/5/21)

Destiny 2 players are ringing in the new year with Trials of Osiris and closing out The Dawning for all the rewards that come with these two events.

From January 1st to the daily reset on the 5th, Trials will take place on the Radiant Cliffs map. Guardians may also continue to earn Dawning Spirit for extra seasonal rewards during this time.

The Pinnacle and Adept rewards for this week’s participation in Trials in Destiny 2: Beyond Light are as follows.

Trials of Osiris Rewards: 1/1 – 1/5/21

• 3 Wins – Eye of Sol, Kinetic sniper rifle
  • Perk 1: Adaptive Frame – A well-rounded grip, reliable and sturdy.
  • Perk 2: Box Breathing – Aiming this weapon for a short period without firing grants bonus range and precision damage that resets after firing or exiting zoom.
• 5 Wins – class-specific leg armor
  • Hunter: Boots of the Exile
  • Titan: Greaves of the Exile
  • Warlock: Legs of the Exile
• 7 Wins – Tomorrow’s Answer, Powerful rocket launcher
  • Perk 1: High-Impact Frame – Slow-firing and high-damage. This weapon is more accurate when stationary and aiming down sights.
  • Perk 2: Disruption Break – Breaking an enemy’s shield with this weapon makes them more vulnerable to Kinetic damage for a brief period.
• Flawless Run – The Scholar (Adept), Kinetic scout rifle
  • Adept Mod: Range – Adds 10 Range points to this weapon.
  • Perk 1: High-Impact Frame – Slow-firing and high-damage. This weapon is more accurate when stationary and aiming down sights.
  • Perk 2: Snapshot Sights – Faster time to aim down sights.

Last Call for Dawning Rewards

This week’s Trials event coincides with the final week of The Dawning, so don’t forget to collect your seasonal event rewards before the January 5th reset. The community Dawning rewards were earned collectively by Guardians on New Year’s day.

Players who wish to benefit from the community’s spirited efforts must visit Eva Levante at the Tower before the event concludes. Only after speaking to Eva will Guardians will receive their Overflowing Dawning rewards.

For many players, the most exciting of these rewards will be an Ascendant Shard, since these are typically hard to obtain. In addition to this rare item, Guardians will also receive a random piece of Exotic armor and a handful of Dawning-related gear and cosmetic items.
