Trials of Osiris is back just in time for Christmas in Destiny 2: Beyond Light. Grab your fireteam and enter this classic PvP event for a chance to grab this week’s Trials rewards.

Every week brings different rewards in Trials of Osiris. While Flawless runs grant the most powerful rewards in the form of Adept weapons, players will still earn powerful and Pinnacle gear at their third, fifth, and seventh win on a Trials run.

From December 25th to the daily reset on the 29th, players can battle it out on the Javelin-4 map for a chance to earn the rewards outlined below.

Trials of Osiris Rewards: 12/25 – 12/29

  • 3 Wins – Astral Horizon, Kinetic shotgun
    • Perk 1: Aggressive Frame – Hard-hitting, high recoil. Increases rate of fire after kill.
    • Perk 2: Slideshot – Sliding partially reloads the magazine and temporarily boosts range and stability.
  • 5 Wins – Tomorrow’s Answer, Void rocket launcher
    • Perk 1: High-Impact Frame – Slow-firing and high-damage. This weapon is more accurate when stationary and aiming down sights.
    • Perk 2: Disruption Break – Breaking an enemy’s shield with this weapon makes them more vulnerable to Kinetic damage for a brief period.
  • 7 Wins – class-specific helmet
    • Hunter: Cover of the Exile
    • Titan: Helm of the Exile
    • Warlock: Hood of the Exile
  • Flawless Run – Astral Horizon (Adept), Kinetic shotgun
    • Adept Mod: Adept Mag – Greatly increases magazine at the cost of handling.
    • Perk 1: Aggressive Frame – Hard-hitting, high recoil. Increases rate of fire after kill.
    • Perk 2: Elemental Capacitor – Increased stats based on the currently equipped subclass.
      • Solar: increases reload speed
      • Arc: increases handling
      • Void: increases stability

Progressing through Trials

Back in Destiny 2‘s Season of Arrivals, Bungie made some significant changes to how progression through Trials is counted. Now, players can earn 1% progress on rounds lost, 2% progress on rounds won, 5% progress on matches lost, and 10% progress on matches won.

What this means is that casual players have more opportunities to earn rewards in their Trials runs. So even if you’re not a seasoned PvP player, get out there and play Trials because your efforts will be rewarded.
