Genshin Impact: Bennett’s Hangout Events Guide

Genshin Impact introduces Hangout Events for Bennett as a feature of the 1.4 update, Invitation of Windblume. This feature allows you to spend a day with Bennett, the unlucky but lovable adventurer. With the help of this article, learn how to unlock all of Bennett’s Hangout Event endings and rewards.

If you’re just getting started with Hangout Events, be sure to check out this event guide primer to make sure you’ve met all the requirements to participate.

There are 6 different endings for Bennett’s Hangout Event, Act 1: Fantastic Voyage. These endings are called “Hangout Memories,” and each one unlocks its own set of rewards.

Hangout Memory 1: Fruitless Anticipation

In the beginning of the first Hangout Memory, “Fruitless Anticipation,” meet Bennett at the Adventurer’s Guild in Mondstadt. You can breeze through the opening dialogue since any of the responses are viable, up to a point.

When Bennett suggests the two of you go on an adventure, choose to reply:

• “We could just do something else.”

Bennett will then propose another question. To avoid hurting his confidence and losing a heart, answer him with any of the dialogue options EXCEPT:

• “As long as you don’t cause too much trouble.”

You should then suggest that the two of you hang around town to advance your progress through this Hangout Memory. As for the next batch of questions, any of the answers will suffice.

After you wait for Blanche, just be careful NOT to answer:

• “I have to say, I ran out of patience long ago…”

This response will result in the loss of another heart.

Finally, telling Bennett to cheer up will lead to the end of this Event Memory.

Bennett’s Hangout Memory 1 Rewards

Successful completion of “Fruitless Anticipation” will net you the following rewards:

• 100 Adventure EXP
• 5 Hero’s Wit
• 5 Teyvat Charred Egg

Hangout Memory 2: Hasty Farewell

This Hangout Memory begins with Bennett asking you where you’d like to go. You should respond:

• “How about a walk in the wild?”

You will then head over to Dandelion Meadow. After meeting Bennett here, tell him:

• “It’s not quite what I expected…”
• Then reassure him that it wasn’t all a waste of time (instead of criticizing him, which will cause you to lose a heart)

Then, Bennett will guide you to a handful of chests in the area, all of which will offer mediocre loot rewards. After unlocking each chest, say:

• “No wonder there were no monsters guarding them…”
• Avoid mentioning anything about Bennett’s bad luck to prevent the loss of a heart

Once you complete this Hangout Memory, you will unlock the achievement, “Archaic Lord of Lightning and Blitz.”

Bennett’s Hangout Memory 2 Rewards

Upon completing “Hasty Farewell,” you will also be awarded with:

• 100 Adventure EXP
• 20 Primogems
• 3 Guide to Resistance

Hangout Memory 3: Taste Tester Royce

The third Hangout Memory starts like “Hasty Farewell,” only this time, when Bennett asks you what you’d like to do, answer:

• “Sure! Let’s go on an adventure!”
• Agree to prepare food before you set out on your journey
• Pick a dish to make for the trip and collect their ingredients

After cooking up the meal of your choice, make your way to the Temple of the Wolf. You can select any of the dialogue options that arise, up until after speaking to Royce.

When Bennett asks you what you think you should do with the food, respond:

• “You cooked it, you can do whatever you want with it.”

Upon tasting the dish, Royce will collapse, ending the “Taste Tester Royce” Hangout Memory.

Bennett’s Hangout Memory 3 Rewards

When you complete this ending, you will receive:

• 100 Adventure EXP
• 5 Hero’s Wit
• 3 Agnidus Agate Fragments

Hangout Memory 4: Ready to Make Sacrifices

“Ready to Make Sacrifices” starts out like the last Hangout Memory, “Taste Tester Royce.” However, when Bennett asks for your opinion on what to do with the dish, reply:

• “No way. You don’t owe him anything.”

Any of the dialogue options after this are fine, but they will all lead you to a series of traps. After successfully maneuvering these traps, you will achieve this story ending.

Bennett’s Hangout Memory 4 Rewards

Once you complete this Hangout Memory, you will receive:

• 100 Adventure EXP
• 20 Primogems
• 5 Teyvat Charred Egg

Hangout Memory 5: No Wonder It’s a Top-Class Commission

In this Hangout Memory, Bennett will again ask if you should prep some food for your mission. In response, select the dialogue option:

• “No. I usually leave straight away.”

This will save you the time of cooking a meal and will allow you to breeze through most of the dialogue choices that follow.

You will arrive at a point where Bennett ponders activating a nearby mechanism. Here, you should reply:

• “Go ahead! We won’t get anywhere just staring at them.”

This will lead you to make a choice between the left and the right mechanism. Complete the quest to conclude “No Wonder It’s a Top-Class Commission.”

Bennett’s Hangout Memory 5 Rewards

Upon completion of this Hangout Memory, you will earn:

• 100 Adventure EXP
• 5 Hero’s Wit
• 3 Agnidus Agate Fragments

Hangout Memory 6: Fortunate Outcome

For Bennett’s final Hangout Memory, “Fortunate Outcome,” repeat the steps from the above storyline until you arrive at the mechanisms. When Bennett asks you about them this time, reply:

• “Hmm, how can I let you face the danger alone?”
• Choose to operate both mechanisms simultaneously

After entering the next room, select any of the dialogue options EXCEPT “They’re all traitors.” This answer will deduct a heart.

You will then find yourself tasked with solving a mechanism puzzle. To successfully complete the puzzle, activate the switches in the following order:

• Switch 3 (near 3 torches)
• Switch 1 (near 1 torch)
• Switch 2 (near 2 torches)

Solving the puzzle on the first try unlocks a secret achievement, “The Power of Luck.” However, if you don’t get it the first time, you can retry the sequence and complete this Hangout Memory.

Bennett’s Hangout Memory 6 Rewards

Achieving the “Fortunate Outcome” Hangout Event Memory will reward you with:

• 100 Adventure EXP
• 20 Primogems
• 3 Guide to Resistance
