Genshin Impact: Lantern Rite Tales and Festive Fever

Genshin Impact update 1.3 brings 26 new World Quests to the game with Lantern Rite Tales that award Festive Fever. The Lantern Rite festival runs through February 28th, and new quests will unlock as the event progresses.

The Lantern Rite Tales quests can be accessed in the Events menu at Adventure Rank 23 or higher. These quests are broken up into three sections: Lantern Rite Tales I, II, and III. Completion of each quest will award Mora, Primogems, and Festive Fever.

Festive Fever

Festive Fever is one of the main currencies of the Lantern Rite event. Completion of each Lantern Rite Tales quest will award between 100 and 200 Festive Fever.

There are three stages of Festive Fever: “We’ve Only Just Begun,” “Guests Flock From Afar,” and “Glow of a Thousand Lanterns.” Each stage is required to unlock a section of Lantern Rite Tales and Theater Mechanicus.

All That Glitters

In addition to increasing Festive Fever, players will need to complete each of the All That Glitters quests to progress through Lantern Rite Tales. These quests will release as follows:

• The Origin of the Lanterns – Feb. 10
• Currents Deep Beneath the Lanterns – Feb. 14
• Light Upon the Sea – Feb. 18

Lantern Rite Tales I

Complete The Origin of the Lanterns and City of Chores quests to unlock the following:

Day 1

• Verses and Vistas of Lantern Rite (Part I)
• Hammer and Wrench
• The Illumiscreen: I

Day 2

• A Festive First Adventure
• Keeping Wanmin’s Patrons Fed

Day 3

• Iron Ingot Meets Ziwei
• Monstadters in Liyue

Day 4

• Outspoken Linling
• Little Lantern, Little Wish

Lantern Rite Tales II

Complete the Lantern Rite Tales I, Currents Deep Beneath the Lanterns, and Wangshu Once Again quests. Then reach the “Guests Flock From Afar” Festive Fever stage to unlock this quest section:

Day 5

• The Illumiscreen: II
• Where the Light Wanes
• Promises Remembered as Lanterns Rise

Day 6

• Yesteryear’s Lanterns and the Guhua of Today
• A Very Festive Problem

Day 7

• Yanxiao’s Crazy Kitchen
• Lantern Rite, Big Business?

• Lantern of the Wayfarer
• When Scholar and Legends Meet

Lantern Rite Tales III

Complete the Lantern Rite Tales II, Light Upon the Sea, and Guests in Qingce quests. Also, reach the “Glow of a Thousand Lanterns” Festive Fever stage to unlock this section:
