Cyberpunk 2077 can get lonely as a single-player RPG, but fortunately you can get a pet cat to keep you company. Once you reach Act 2 of the game, you will be able to embark on a secret quest to get a pet cat in V’s apartment. Here’s a guide on how to find, feed, and adopt Nibbles the cat in Cyberpunk 2077.
How to Get a Pet Cat in Cyberpunk 2077
Getting a pet cat in Cyberpunk 2077 is part of a secret quest. To start this quest, exit V’s apartment and take a left down the hallway. In a garbage bin, you will find a shard titled “feed teh cat.”
Collect this shard, and you will get the message, “Somebody feed the cat. Anything works but he likes chicken most. Just say pspspsps and he’ll come runnin.”
At this point, if you have cat food in your inventory, you will be able to feed the cat.
You can then return to V’s apartment, go to sleep, wake up, and Nibbles the cat will be chilling in a laundry basket beside V’s bed.
Where to Find Cat Food in Cyberpunk 2077
If you don’t have any cat food in your inventory, there are a few locations at which you can find it.
Cat Food Location – Arasaka Warehouse
You can find cat food in the Arasaka Warehouse in the Arasaka Industrial Park, located in Arroyo.
Cat Food Location – Grand Imperial Mall
Head to the Grand Imperial Mall (GIM) in Pacifica. You can find cat food at the GIM Loading Bay 5, located in the parking lot out back.
Cat Food Location – River’s Nephew’s Trailer
When doing the side mission, “The Hunt,” you can find cat food in the cupboard of River’s nephew’s trailer.
Cat Food Location – Kerry’s Apartment
During the “Psychofan” side mission, you can find cat food on the kitchen counter in Kerry’s apartment.
Other Cat Food Locations
Players have also reported finding cat food in drops from quests such as Panam’s first mission and Regina’s mission to steal a shard from Maelstrom.
It’s only a matter of time before you find some cat food in Cyberpunk 2077. Just be sure not to sell it if you want to make Nibbles the cat a permanent resident in V’s apartment.
