Spoils of Conquest is one of Destiny 2‘s newest currencies from the Beyond Light expansion. It is required to purchase certain Exotics from the Monument to Lost Lights archive. If you want to buy Anarchy, Legend of Acrius, Tarrabah, or Always on Time, you will need some of this rare currency. Here’s how to get Spoils of Conquest in Destiny 2: Beyond Light.

How to Get Spoils of Conquest

To get Spoils of Conquest in Destiny 2, you will have to grind through some raids. At this time, there are only three raids you can earn this currency from. These raids are Last Wish in the Dreaming City, Garden of Salvation on the Moon, and Deep Stone Crypt on Europa.

You will earn a meager 3 Spoils of Conquest with every raid boss you defeat. This is precious little, considering you will need 240 Spoils of Conquest to purchase any of the archived items that require this currency. That means you will need to successfully complete 80 raids to earn enough for just one of these Exotics.

And to make matters worse, that’s not even considering the other currencies such as Glimmer, Exotic Ciphers, and Ascendant Shards you will also need to obtain these Exotics.

Spending Your Spoils of Conquest

At the time of this writing, there are four Exotics available for purchase at the Tower’s Monument to Lost Lights kiosk that require Spoils of Conquest:

  • Legend of Acrius, Year 1 Arc shotgun
  • Anarchy, Year 2 Arc grenade launcher
  • Tarrabah, Year 2 Solar submachine gun
  • Always on Time, Year 2 Sparrow

Each of these Exotic gear items requires 240 Spoils of Conquest, as well as 1 Exotic Cipher, 150,000 Glimmer, and 2 Ascendant Shards.

For What It’s Worth

The general consensus is that Anarchy is the Exotic most worth obtaining at this steep price. With its Arc Traps perk, its grenades stick to surfaces and create an Arc chain that make it a solid weapon choice for both PvE and PvP gameplay.

However, it’s up to you to decide which of these archived Exotics, if any, are worth your grind.
